Dr Anabi Shahi is a senior consultant with over 20 years of experience. She is an adept cataract surgeon in both Phacoemulsification and Small incision cataract surgery. She is in charge of the Uvea clinic and her clinical interests include uveal diseases and medical retina.
She is the member secretary of the Institutional Ethics committee and Chairperson of Infection control committee at our hospital. She is a faculty member for the DNB postgraduate teaching program.
Dr Anabi completed her MBBS and MS from Govt Medical College Calicut. She has undergone training in medical retina from Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore in 2008 and Uvea observership under Dr J Biswas from Sankara Nethralaya Chennai in 2012. She completed her FICO in 2004 and MRCS ( Edin) in 2021.
