Dr Litta George is a consultant ophthalmologist and heads the Glaucoma department at our hospital. Her surgical repertoire includes both cataract and glaucoma surgeries and laser procedures for glaucoma. Her special interests include secondary glaucoma and surgical management of glaucoma.
She is the course coordinator of the postgraduate teaching program at our hospital and a member of the Scientific and Institutional Ethics Committee.
Dr Litta completed her MBBS and MS from Govt Medical College Trivandrum. She completed her long-term surgical glaucoma fellowship from Aravind Eye Hospital Tirunelveli in 2017 and in the same year was inducted as fellow of International Council of Ophthalmology with glaucoma subspeciality. She completed FICO in 2018.
